Welcome to Busy Bees Playhouse Abilene, the sister property to Busy Bees Childcare Center Abilene located on the north side of Abilene.

Busy Bees Playhouse is an indoor toddler play space designed especially for children ages 1–6, while still being enjoyable for the whole family. Our play environment is thoughtfully curated to encourage imagination, movement, and social interaction.

Our space features:
• A large indoor sandbox – the heart of our play space
• Climbing and play structures
• Dramatic play areas
• Manipulative toys and hands-on activities
• A soft play area designed for younger toddlers

We also created a comfortable parent lounge where adults can relax while their children play. The lounge includes coffee, Netflix, and workspace seating so parents can catch up on emails or simply enjoy a moment to breathe while still being able to see their child.

Everything in our space is intentional, clean, and designed with safety in mind. Busy Bees Playhouse is truly a place for both kids and parents — a place to play, connect, and build community.

To make this experience possible, we intentionally staff additional team members so we can consistently provide attentive supervision and support throughout the play space.

Our facility also serves as the home of our Mother’s Day Out program, and the entire space is available for birthday parties, baby showers, and family events. We also host regular events to help build a strong community for young families in Abilene.
